Transport Guide
Adelaide is easy to reach, whether you’re travelling locally or from interstate. Daily direct flights operate from most major cities, including Sydney and Melbourne, just a quick 1.5-hour journey.
Road tripping? The drive from Melbourne takes around 8 hours, with both coastal and inland routes offering scenic views. Regional trains and buses connect nearby towns, and Adelaide Airport is just 9km from the city, an easy ride by taxi, rideshare, or public transport.
Best way to get to and from Harvest Rock
Harvest Rock is held in Adelaide’s picturesque Rymill Park (Park 14) & King Rodney Park (Park 15), also known as Murlawirrapurka & Ityamai-Itpina.
Getting there:
The easiest way to get to Harvest Rock is on foot. Public buses also run along Grenfell Street and Rundle Street. You can take the light rail to the Botanic Gardens stop and walk down East Terrace to the event entry (about 520m). The nearest train station is Adelaide Railway Station, a hub for Adelaide’s suburban rail network, which is roughly a 25-minute walk from the event.
Getting home:
Public transport is the best way home. Walk up East Terrace and turn left onto Botanic Road to catch the light rail from Botanic Gardens, or use buses along Grenfell Street and Rundle Street. You can also catch a train from Adelaide Railway Station.
If you’re leaving at the end of the night, please expect some wait times as everyone will be heading out at once.

Getting There
If you’re coming from further out, we recommend having your rideshare drop you at the nearest public transport option and taking that into Harvest Rock. If you’d prefer to be dropped closer, drivers can use East Terrace, between Rundle and Grenfell Streets.
Getting Home
We strongly recommend heading home via bus, light rail, or train. If you’d rather be picked up by a rideshare or private car, pick-ups are available on East Terrace, between Rundle and Grenfell Streets, but please expect road closures and potential delays.
Car Parking
Unfortunately, there is no day parking available through Harvest Rock. We recommend using public transport or rideshare dropping you on East Terrace, between Rundle and Grenfell.
e-scooters
E-scooters are available but please keep in mind they are not permitted in Rundle Mall which is nearby.
Road Closures
Bartels Road is closed from 05:00 Wednesday 22 – 23:59 Monday 27 October.
Other Tips / Info to know
Plan ahead to make sure you know where you’re heading and you’ve left enough time for your journey so you don’t miss any of your fave acts.
Follow the signs and directions of event staff in and around the festival, and be respectful of any event staff or police who are trying to help you get into the festival as quickly as possible.
Make a note of where you’ve been dropped off or the last bus, light rail or train times so you know how to get home when the festival ends.
If you’re tapping out early, this will be the best way to beat the rush. But if you’re sticking it out til the end, take your time making your way to the exit.
